Best Crewed Yacht Charters in Greece for 2027

Imagine waking up to the gentle movement of the sea, stepping outside with your morning coffee, and looking out at a beautiful Greek island. No crowded hotel breakfast, no rushing to catch a ferry, and no packing and unpacking every time you want to visit somewhere new.
Just you, your favorite people, a private yacht, and a crew taking care of the details.
A crewed yacht charter in Greece is one of my favorite ways to experience the Greek islands. From swimming in secluded coves to wandering through villages, enjoying incredible Greek food, and spending evenings under the stars, there’s something special about seeing Greece from the water.
And while the destination is important, choosing the right yacht can make all the difference.
At Songs In The Sails Yacht Charters, I help clients find yachts that fit their group, their budget, and the kind of vacation they want to experience.
Here are five beautiful yachts to consider for your 2027 Greece vacation.
Why Choose a Crewed Yacht Charter in Greece?
Greece has hundreds of inhabited islands, each with its own personality. Some are known for their lively waterfront restaurants and beautiful architecture, while others are quiet, with little more than a picturesque village and a beautiful place to swim.
With a private yacht charter, you get to experience a combination of both.
Your captain helps plan the route around your interests and the weather. Depending on the yacht and its crew arrangement, your meals may be prepared on board, and you can spend your days swimming, paddleboarding, exploring, or simply relaxing.
You don’t have to coordinate ferry schedules, switch hotels, or figure out how to get your entire group from one island to the next.
And one of the best parts? You get to experience Greece with the people you love, without having to share your accommodations with strangers.
1. Daiquiri — Luxury Sailing with Room to Relax

If you’re looking for a sailing catamaran with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your surroundings, Daiquiri deserves a look.
67-foot Lagoon Sixty 5 Sailing Catamaran | 10 Guests | 5 Cabins | 4 Crew
Built in 2022, this beautiful Lagoon Sixty 5 combines comfortable accommodations with incredible indoor and outdoor living areas.
One of her standout features is the large flybridge. It’s a wonderful place to sit with friends, enjoy the views, or spend a lazy afternoon with a good book.
Inside, Daiquiri has a bright, open salon and five guest cabins. The cabin arrangement includes four doubles and one bunk cabin, making her worth considering for families or groups of friends.
For guests who enjoy spending time in the water, Daiquiri offers paddleboards, kayaks, sea scooters, and other water toys.
Her crew of four takes care of the yacht and guest experience, allowing everyone to enjoy their time aboard.
Why I like Daiquiri: She offers the experience of sailing through the Greek islands without giving up the space and comforts guests appreciate on a luxury vacation.
Best suited for: Families, groups of friends, and travelers who love sailing but want comfortable accommodations and plenty of outdoor living space.
2. HYDRUS — A Yacht to Discover

55-foot Lagoon Sailing Catamaran | 10 Guests | 5 Cabins | 3 Crew
If you’re looking for a beautiful sailing catamaran with comfortable accommodations, plenty of outdoor space, and a great selection of water toys, HYDRUS is definitely worth considering.
Built in 2023, this Lagoon catamaran offers five guest cabins, including four doubles and one twin that can convert into a double. Each cabin has its own private bathroom, which is always a nice feature when traveling with several couples or families.
One of the things I love about catamarans is how much outdoor living space they offer, and HYDRUS is no exception. Her comfortable seating areas give guests plenty of room to enjoy meals together, relax with a book, or take in the beautiful Greek coastline.
And if your group loves spending time in the water, HYDRUS has plenty to keep everyone entertained. She carries two Seabobs, two paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, snorkeling equipment, and more.
Her professional crew of three includes a captain, chef, and deckhand/steward, so you can enjoy your vacation while someone else takes care of the sailing, meals, and daily details.
Why I like HYDRUS: She offers a wonderful balance of modern accommodations, outdoor living space, and water activities without having to charter a much larger yacht.
Best suited for: Families, groups of friends, and couples traveling together who want a comfortable sailing experience with a variety of activities on the water.
3. EFKRATI — A Great Option for Larger Groups

51-foot Lagoon Sailing Catamaran | 12 Guests | 6 Cabins | 2 Crew
Planning a yacht vacation with a larger group can sometimes be challenging, particularly when you’re trying to find enough cabins without moving into a much larger yacht.
That’s one reason EFKRATI is worth considering.
Built in 2023, this Lagoon 51 accommodates up to 12 guests in six double cabins, with four guest bathrooms.
Her design makes excellent use of outdoor space, with a flybridge where guests can enjoy the view, a comfortable forward seating area, and an inviting aft cockpit for spending time together.
The raised salon offers panoramic views of the surrounding water, bringing the beauty of Greece right into the yacht’s living space.
EFKRATI also carries paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, and other water toys for guests who want to get out and enjoy the sea.
With a professional crew of two, she offers a different service arrangement from the larger luxury yachts. The meal plan and level of onboard service should be reviewed when comparing her with other options.
Why I like EFKRATI: She can accommodate a larger group in six guest cabins while offering a more approachable starting charter price than many larger crewed yachts.
Best suited for: Larger families, groups of couples, and friends traveling together who want to enjoy a Greek island vacation aboard a sailing catamaran.
4. Majesty of Greece — A Beautiful Power Catamaran Experience

67-foot Fountaine Pajot Power 67 | Up to 10 Guests | 5 Cabins | 4 Crew
Majesty of Greece brings a different experience to the Greek islands.
Unlike a traditional sailing catamaran, Majesty of Greece is a power catamaran. For guests who prefer motor cruising, she combines expansive living spaces with the style and comfort of a modern luxury yacht.
Her outdoor spaces are a big part of what makes her special.
The flybridge is perfect for gathering with friends, enjoying a cocktail, or admiring the incredible scenery. The forward lounging area even features a jacuzzi, creating a wonderful place to relax while surrounded by the beautiful Greek coastline.
Inside, Majesty of Greece offers elegant accommodations, including an impressive owner’s suite.
And with a professional crew of four, guests can enjoy personalized service throughout their charter.
I’ve had the opportunity to spend time aboard Majesty of Greece in Greece, and the experience is exactly why I love helping clients discover this style of vacation.
There’s something wonderful about spending the day exploring the islands, returning to the yacht for a beautiful meal, and enjoying the evening with nowhere else you need to be.
Why I like Majesty of Greece: Her combination of generous outdoor spaces, modern accommodations, and power-catamaran cruising makes her an exciting choice for a Greek island vacation.
Best suited for: Families, couples traveling together, and groups celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions.
5. Project Steel — A Classic Luxury Motor Yacht

112-foot Bugari Motor Yacht | 12 Guests | 5 Cabins | 6 Crew
For travelers who want a traditional motor yacht experience, Project Steel offers something different from the catamarans on this list.
At approximately 112 feet, Project Steel has the space and presence of a larger luxury motor yacht, with multiple areas for guests to gather, relax, and enjoy their surroundings.
She accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, making the cabin configuration an important consideration for your group.
Her crew of six provides a higher crew-to-guest ratio than you’ll find on many smaller yachts.
Project Steel also offers a variety of water toys, including a Jet Ski, Seabob, paddleboards, and snorkeling equipment.
For groups who enjoy spending their days on the water and their evenings relaxing on deck, she offers a memorable way to experience the Greek islands.
Why I like Project Steel: She provides a traditional motor yacht experience with more crew, generous guest spaces, and a wide selection of water activities.
Best suited for: Larger families, groups of friends, milestone celebrations, and travelers who prefer the experience of a luxury motor yacht.
Where Can You Go on a Greece Yacht Charter?
One of the questions I hear most often is, “Where should we go?”
And my answer is usually that it depends on the kind of vacation you want.
Greece offers several wonderful cruising areas, and each one provides a different experience.
The Saronic Islands — Charming Villages and Relaxed Exploring

If you love beautiful waterfront villages, Greek culture, and a slightly more relaxed island experience, the Saronic Islands are worth considering.
Popular stops include:
- Hydra: Famous for its picturesque harbor, stone mansions, and car-free streets.
- Poros: A beautiful island with a lively waterfront, pine-covered hills, and charming restaurants.
- Spetses: Known for its elegant atmosphere, historic architecture, and seaside dining.
- Aegina: A lovely island with historic sites, local markets, and a traditional Greek atmosphere.
The Saronic Islands are especially appealing to guests who want a balance of exploring ashore and enjoying time on the yacht.
The Cyclades — Iconic Greek Island Scenery

If you’ve been dreaming of whitewashed villages, beautiful blue water, and the famous scenery of the Greek islands, you’ve probably been picturing the Cyclades.
Some islands to consider include:
- Mykonos: Known for its lively atmosphere, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.
- Paros: Beautiful beaches, traditional villages, and fantastic waterfront dining.
- Naxos: A wonderful mix of history, beaches, and authentic Greek culture.
- Kythnos: A quieter island with beautiful swimming spots and traditional villages.
- Syros: Known for its elegant architecture, culture, and charming harbor towns.
The Cyclades can experience strong Meltemi winds during the summer, so flexibility is important when planning this cruising area.
Your captain will help determine a route that’s appropriate for the yacht, the weather, and your group’s interests.
And remember, you don’t need to visit every island in one week to have an incredible vacation.
Sometimes the best days are the ones when you stay a little longer somewhere you love.
How Much Does a Crewed Yacht Charter in Greece Cost?
The cost of a crewed yacht charter in Greece varies depending on the yacht, travel dates, length of the charter, and number of guests.
For example, smaller crewed sailing catamarans may have base weekly rates starting around €15,000–€20,000, while larger luxury catamarans and motor yachts can range from approximately €30,000 to €70,000 or more per week.
These are general planning ranges rather than guaranteed quotes.
Something important to understand is that many crewed yacht charters in Greece are priced plus expenses.
Depending on the yacht, additional costs include:
- Greek VAT
- Food and beverages
- Fuel
- Port and marina fees
- Other expenses specific to your itinerary
Many yachts use an Advance Provisioning Allowance, or APA, to fund these expenses during the charter. The crew accounts for actual spending, and any unused balance is returned under the charter terms.
Not every yacht has the same pricing structure or onboard meal arrangements.
When we discuss your budget, I’ll help explain what is included, what’s additional, and what your overall charter cost may look like before you make a decision.
When Is the Best Time to Charter a Yacht in Greece?
Greece’s main yacht charter season generally runs from May through October.
May and June: Beautiful months to visit, with pleasant weather, fewer peak-season crowds, and wonderful opportunities for exploring ashore.
July and August: The height of summer, with warm water, busy island towns, and an energetic atmosphere. These months can also bring strong Meltemi winds, particularly in the Cyclades.
September: One of my favorite times to recommend Greece. The sea has warmed throughout the summer, and some islands begin to feel less crowded.
October: A quieter time to explore, although the weather becomes more variable and some seasonal businesses begin closing.
There isn’t one perfect month for everyone.
If you’re traveling with school-age children, summer may be your best option. If you have more flexibility, late spring or September can be wonderful.
The right cruising area and itinerary matter just as much as the month you choose.
How Do You Choose the Right Yacht for Your Group?
When you start looking at yachts online, it’s easy to get caught up in the photographs.
And I understand why. There are some beautiful yachts available in Greece!
But the prettiest yacht isn’t necessarily the best yacht for your group.
I encourage clients to think about a few things before making a decision.
Who is traveling? Six couples have different cabin needs than a family with children. Some yachts offer several equal-sized cabins, while others have a large primary suite and smaller guest accommodations.
What do you want your days to look like? Are you hoping to spend most of your time swimming and relaxing, or do you want to explore a different island nearly every day?
Do you prefer sailing or motor cruising? Both can be wonderful, but the experience, pace, and operating costs can differ.
What matters most to your group? It might be exceptional food, an expansive flybridge, water toys, spacious cabins, or a crew known for taking wonderful care of their guests.
These are the details I look at when helping clients compare yachts.
My job isn’t simply to send you a list of available boats. It’s to help you find the yacht that makes sense for your vacation.
