All-Inclusive Yacht Charters in the Bahamas: A Luxury Alternative to Resorts

All-Inclusive Yacht Charters in the Bahamas: A Luxury Alternative to Resorts
Imagine waking up to the sound of gentle waves, stepping onto the deck of your private yacht, and setting sail to a secluded white-sand beach with crystal-clear waters. This is the luxury of an all-inclusive yacht charter in the Bahamas—an experience that surpasses even the most lavish resort stay.
Thinking About a Bahamas Yacht Charter?
If you’re reading this and wondering what a private yacht charter would actually look like for your group, I can help with that.
Send me your approximate dates, number of guests, and the budget you’re comfortable with. I’ll narrow down the options and send you a few crewed yachts that make sense for your trip. You don’t need to know which yacht you want—or even exactly where in the Bahamas you want to go yet.
Why Choose an All-Inclusive Yacht Charter Over a Resort?
While high-end resorts in the Bahamas promise luxury, they can’t match the exclusivity, flexibility, and adventure of a private yacht charter. Here’s why a Bahamas yacht charter is the superior choice:
1. Exclusive, Private Experience
Resorts are often crowded, with limited space at pools, beaches, and restaurants. A private yacht charter ensures a personalized experience, allowing you to escape the crowds and enjoy the pristine beauty of the Bahamas without distractions.

2. Customizable Itinerary & Island-Hopping Adventures
Unlike resorts, which confine you to one location, a yacht charter in the Bahamas lets you explore multiple islands at your own pace. From the Exumas and Eleuthera to Harbour Island and the Abacos, you can create a tailored itinerary based on your interests, whether it’s snorkeling, diving, fishing, or beachcombing.

3. All-Inclusive Luxury with Personalized Service
An all-inclusive yacht charter comes with a professional crew, including a captain and private chef, who cater to your every need. Unlike resorts with set menus, you’ll enjoy customized gourmet meals, fresh seafood, and premium drinks prepared to your preferences. Plus, the onboard crew provides five-star service without the need to wait in line.

4. Access to Remote Beaches & Hidden Gems
Resorts are typically located on busier islands, while a yacht charter gives you access to secluded beaches and hidden coves that most tourists never see. Imagine anchoring at the famous Pig Beach in the Exumas, diving into the Thunderball Grotto, or relaxing on the untouched shores of Long Island.
5. Unparalleled Water Activities & Marine Life Encounters
While resorts offer some water activities, a yacht charter takes adventure to the next level. From private snorkeling excursions and stand-up paddleboarding to jet skiing and deep-sea fishing, you’ll have access to top-tier equipment and personalized experiences. Swim with nurse sharks at Compass Cay, dive among vibrant coral reefs, or kayak through mangrove trails.

6. Ultimate Relaxation & No Crowds
At resorts, you’ll often find yourself battling for the best lounge chair or dealing with noisy crowds. On a yacht charter, relaxation is effortless—you’ll have your own private deck, shaded lounging areas, and the ocean as your personal infinity pool.
How Much Does an All-Inclusive Yacht Charter in the Bahamas Cost?
This is usually one of the first questions I’m asked, and understandably so.
Crewed sailing catamarans in the Bahamas generally start in the low-to-mid $25,000s for a week, with pricing going up with larger catamarans moving into the $30,000, $40,000, and $50,000+ range. Power catamarans generally start around $35,000 per week, while larger motor yachts can start around $85,000 and go well beyond that.
On an all-inclusive crewed catamaran, your charter rate typically includes your captain and crew, meals prepared by your private chef, snacks, standard beverages, accommodations, many of the yacht’s water toys, and a customized itinerary.
Bahamas 14% VAT and crew gratuity are additional. Depending on the yacht and your preferences, things such as premium liquor, requested dockage, transportation to and from the yacht, meals ashore, and travel insurance may also be additional.
When you compare that with booking several luxury hotel rooms, meals, drinks, excursions, transportation, and activities for a group, the difference may be smaller than you expect—especially when the yacht itself is your private accommodation, restaurant, transportation, and entertainment for the week.
Curious What Your Budget Could Get You?
You don’t have to sort through hundreds of yachts yourself. Tell me your dates, number of guests, and approximate budget, and I’ll show you a few Bahamas yachts that fit.

About Stephanie at Songs In The Sails
Stephanie Lowrey is the founder and yacht charter broker behind Songs In The Sails Yacht Charters. Based in Athens, Georgia, Stephanie took an unconventional path into the yacht charter world.
Before launching Songs In The Sails in 2021, she spent years in the music industry working in artist management, tour management, and tour promotion. That background taught her how to manage countless details behind the scenes, understand what people need, and create experiences that feel effortless to the person enjoying them.
Her love of travel and sailing eventually led her in a new direction, and the name Songs In The Sails brings those two parts of her life together — music and yachts.
Today, Stephanie works personally with charter clients to match them with the right yacht, crew, and destination. She travels, attends yacht shows, meets crews, and steps aboard the yachts she recommends whenever possible, giving her clients insight that goes far beyond what can be learned from an online listing.
For Stephanie, the goal has never been simply to book a yacht. It is to understand who is traveling, what matters to them, and help create the kind of trip they will still be talking about years later.
