Aboard Majesty of Greece: My Greece FAM Trip Through the Saronic Islands

Aboard Majesty of Greece: My Greece FAM Trip Through the Saronic Islands
After two nonstop weeks of boat shows, stepping aboard Majesty of Greece felt like exactly what a yacht charter should feel like: welcoming, relaxing, and effortless.
We began our three-day FAM trip in Poros, Greece, cruising through the Saronic Islands before ending in Athens. This was a chance for me to experience the yacht, crew, food, itinerary style, and onboard atmosphere firsthand — the kind of experience that helps me better match my clients with the right yacht and destination.
And from the moment I stepped onboard, one thing stood out immediately:
The crew was happy.
They smiled often. They were kind, eager, and attentive without feeling overbearing. That energy matters. A beautiful yacht is important, of course, but the crew is what truly shapes the charter experience. On Majesty of Greece, the crew made the yacht feel warm, relaxed, and genuinely inviting.
A Comfortable Luxury Power Catamaran
Majesty of Greece is a 67-foot power catamaran with five cabins, accommodating up to 10 guests. I would describe the style as comfortable luxury — polished and elevated, but still easy to settle into.
What I loved most about the yacht was how open it felt. There are so many spaces to relax, stretch out, take in the views, lay in the sun, or sneak away for a nap. The flybridge was one of my favorite areas onboard. It is the kind of space guests naturally gravitate toward, whether for cocktails, conversation, sunbathing, or simply watching the Greek islands pass by.
This yacht could work well for many different types of charter groups: families, couples, groups of friends, corporate groups, milestone celebrations, luxury travelers, and even first-time charter guests. It has that easy, welcoming layout that does not feel intimidating.
The Crew Made the Experience

The crew on Majesty of Greece was excellent. They were on point, attentive, and eager to do things for us before we even had to ask.
The cocktails were tasty, the food was fantastic, and the captain was very knowledgeable. That kind of local knowledge makes a difference in Greece, especially because weather and wind can change quickly. Experiencing that firsthand reminded me how important it is to have a crew that understands the cruising area and can adjust the itinerary when needed.
A Greece yacht charter should come with a plan, but it also needs flexibility. The right crew helps make those changes feel seamless.
Food With Greek Tradition and French Flair

The food onboard was exceptional.
The chef created meals that blended traditional Greek flavors with a French flair. Most meals were served family-style, with just the right amount of food — always enough, but never too much. One meal was served plated, and it was beautifully done.
That balance really stood out to me. It felt thoughtful, generous, and elevated without being fussy. For many charter guests, food is one of the most memorable parts of the trip, and Majesty of Greece delivered.
Where We Cruised
During our three days aboard, we visited:
- Spetses
- Dokos
- Moni
Each stop gave us a different glimpse of what makes Greece such a special charter destination. My personal favorite was Moni Aegina Beach. It had that peaceful, laid-back feeling that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.
We had the kind of days charter guests dream about: swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, beach time, village exploring, dining ashore, sunsets, and quiet moments onboard.
The Moment I Knew Clients Would Love It
Honestly, I thought, “My clients would love this,” several times.
After working nonstop for two weeks, this trip was a welcomed and wonderful time to relax. And that is exactly what a great yacht charter should offer. Yes, there is adventure. Yes, there are beautiful destinations. But there is also the gift of slowing down, being taken care of, and letting the day unfold.
That feeling is what I want my clients to experience.
Why Greece Is So Special by Yacht
Greece has a different rhythm than other charter destinations I have experienced. It still gives you the water, sunshine, and relaxation people love about the Caribbean, but with an added layer of culture, history, and island life.
It is not just about where you swim — it is about where you step ashore afterward.
You might spend the afternoon floating in a quiet anchorage, then go into a village for fresh seafood, Greek wine, a sunset walk, or a little local shopping. For charter guests who want both relaxation and a sense of discovery, Greece is hard to beat.
Greece is one of those destinations that gives you more than beautiful water. It combines island-hopping, incredible food, historic villages, clear anchorages, and that unmistakable Mediterranean feeling. It is relaxed, but never boring — perfect for guests who want luxury, culture, and adventure in the same trip.
What I Learned for Future Greece Charter Clients
One of the biggest things this trip reinforced is that Greece itineraries need to stay flexible. The wind can come and go quickly, and the weather can shift faster than many guests expect. That does not mean Greece is difficult — it means the best charters are planned with room to adjust.
My insider advice for anyone considering a Greece yacht charter:
Go in September or October if you can.
These months can be a wonderful time to enjoy Greece, especially after the busiest summer crowds.
Pack light layers.
You do not need to overpack, but layers are helpful because temperatures and wind can change.
Book early, but know that booking windows vary.
Some yachts may allow bookings as early as October for the following season, depending on the owner. Many begin booking in January for that same year, but the best yachts and crews can go quickly.
Stay flexible with the itinerary.
Your captain will always be watching the weather and making smart decisions. Sometimes the best moments happen when the itinerary shifts.
My time aboard Majesty of Greece gave me exactly what I hope to offer my clients: firsthand knowledge, honest insight, and a deeper understanding of the charter experience.
This yacht is comfortable, open, welcoming, and beautifully crewed. Greece is relaxed, inspiring, adventurous, and full of moments that make you want to book the next trip before the current one is even over.
For anyone dreaming of a Greece yacht charter, Majesty of Greece is a yacht worth considering.
